Bible Marathon comes to Tama Co. Sept. 6-13

The Iowa 99 County Bible Reading Marathon, sponsored by the Iowa Prayer Caucus Network, is taking its show on the road and will visit Tama County in September.

The event, which was done in the rotunda of the State Capitol on January, travels across Iowa’s counties and will be taking place in front of county courthouses all year long.

This year, the marathon will visit Tama County from September 6 to 13 daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. east of the Tama County Courthouse. An 80-hour around-the-clock marathon will be held to read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

Readers are needed to sign up for 15 minutes or more, along with prayer friends to pray for the event and our nation. The event is open to all – everyone is welcome!
