Buckingham Boosters September meeting

The Buckingham Boosters September meeting was held on September 11, 2016 at 4:30 pm. Levi Beenken called the meeting to order at 4:35. Ryan Hosek led the Pledge of Allegiance. The Roll Call question was “What is your favorite part about being in 4-H?”It was answered by five members. Minutes from the last meeting were read by Dylan Hosek. Ryan Hosek made a motion to approve the minutes and Aaron Snider seconded. Dylan Hosek read the Treasurers report. Stan Miller made a motion to approve the Treasurers report and Ryan Hosek seconded. Old business includes Little Hands on the Farm reported on by Aaron Snider and the Historian Book Work day reported on by Tommy Weber. New business includes re-enrollment for 4-H after September 15th. October 2nd – 8th is National 4-H week. Dylan Hosek motioned an amendment to have Hot Beef Sundays at the potluck rather than ham. October 2nd, 2016 at 4 pm we will paint three business windows in downtown Traer to promote National 4-H week. After window painting we will hold a club potluck and every family expected to bringing a desert or salad. Traer Find Out night is October 6th from 5-7 pm at the North Tama Activity Center. Record books were also due to Rebecca. The following people were elected for offices. Levi Beenken was elected as president, Aaron Snider was elected as Vice President, Hailey Palmer was elected as Secretary and Reporter, Dylan Hosek was elected as Treasurer, Tommy Weber was elected as Photographer, and Ryan Hosek, Mason Hosek, Stan Miller, Adel Scherrer and Hailey Palmer were elected as Historian. The next business meeting will be held on October 2nd, 2016 at 6 pm. This months meeting was hosted by Levi Beenken.
