Fourteen Mid-Iowa Youth Beef Team (MIYBT) members participated in the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach 2016 Beef Blast Conference held Saturday, December 3 in the Hanson Center on the Iowa State University. The participants expanded their beef industry knowledge by completing training sessions on breeding selection, nutrition, reproduction, and breeding soundness evaluations. Team members that participated: Leah Mosher, Megan Pansegrau, Abby Green, Delaney Nichols, Lauren Mosher, Frances Jackson, Madde Green, Colby McMorran, Jake Hlas, Dylan Hosek, Cael Kline, Cody Kline, Layne Murty, and Conner Murty.
