Mr. Josh Youel, North Tama Elementary Principal, was presented with a very special award at the Learning Supports State Conference in Des Moines, Iowa. On May 9, Mr. Youel received the honor of PBIS Person of the Year for the state of Iowa in 2017! Mr. Youel is a great example to the students of North Tama. He truly live the 3 R’s of Redhawk Character: Respect, Responsibility, and Relationships. He builds relationships with both students and staff and encourages everyone to try their best at what they do. He is always willing to dress up and be silly and makes learning fun and engaging for all. Congratulations to Mr. Youel on receiving this well-deserved award!
