Field tour set in Tama County for Pollinator Week

Iowa Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever and partners will be hosting workshops with regional partners to provide information about pollinator habitat, the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), management of native cover, and benefits to water quality practices. These workshops will be held across three counties providing several opportunities for interested landowners, producers, and land managers to attend.

The workshop in Tama County will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 21 at Clint and Renee Uhlenhopp’s farm. The Uhlenhopp farm is located at 1326 230th St. in Garwin.

Those interested in attending the Tama County workshop are asked to RSVP to Allie Rath at the information provided below.

There will be additional workshops in Linn County on June 21 and in Benton County on June 22.

Learn about the importance of pollinators and their habitat, practices that can provide water quality benefits AND wildlife habitat, some plant ID, and much more.

Contact the local biologist or contact person for more information and to RSVP. All workshops are free and are located outside with social distancing encouraged. Come celebrate Pollinator Week with us! Water provided.
