Carol J. Timson, 77
Carol J. (Helland) Timson, beloved wife and mother, passed away at 8:00 pm on September 6, 2014. She was born on February 26, 1937, and was 77 years old. She graduated from La Porte City High School in 1954, and married her high school sweetheart, Norman Timson, on June 3, 1956. Carol is survived by her husband, son Mark, daughter Lisa Gauen, and sisters Nadine Strait and Marilyn Gill. Carol was preceded in death by an infant son, Todd Tyler Timson, her parents, and two brothers. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, September 13 in Traer, Iowa at the United Presbyterian Church at 307 Walnut Street. May she always be remembered for the loving and gracious person she was.
