A girl arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Trunck southeast of Dysart Wednesday, June 26.Mr. Will Raymond celebrated his 52nd birthday last Sunday.

June 29, 1939

Relatives have received announcement of the wedding of Miss Netha Heineman, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Heineman, to Paul Pollock Thorn of Philadelphia.

The marriage of Miss Lois Walls of Chicago, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Walls, to Edward Symkowiak of Chicago, took place Saturday evening at Chicago.

June 23, 1949

Repeating wedding vows in the Little Brown Church at Nashua Sunday evening were Miss Pat Glass, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Glass of Vinton and Alvin Witt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Witt of Dysart. Miss Phyllis Pearl Santman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer M. Santman and Leroy H. Noe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil A. Noe of Garrison, were united in marriage here Sunday evening.

July 2, 1959

Mr. and Mrs. Roland Degner celebrated their silver wedding anniversary last Friday evening with an open house at their home near Dysart.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Mundfrom are the parents of a daughter born Sunday at the Vinton hospital. This is their second child and first daughter.

Mr. and Mrs. Marlyn Dengler of Dysart are announcing the approaching marriage of their daughter, Kathleen Ann, to Kent M. Stevens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orin Stevens of Des Moines. An August 30, wedding is planned.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Grimm of Dysart are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Karen Kay, to Lynn Allan Petersen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd C. Petersen of Dysart. An August 9, wedding is planned.

June 28, 1979

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Woldan are the parents of a daughter born June 15, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. She has been named Nicole Kay.

Stephen and Anita Keve of Dysart are parents of a son born Thursday, June 21, at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton. He has been named John William.

Julie Troutman and David Norby, both of West Des Moines, were united in marriage on Saturday, June 3, 1989, at St. John Lutheran Church in Des Moines. Announcement is being made of the engagement and approaching marriage of Donna Leigh Erenberger of Marion and Ricky Lee Raub of Dysart. An August 19, wedding is being planned.

Judge and Mrs. Peter Van Metre will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday with a family dinner.
