Ties to Thomas

As everyone has heard, a renowned coach from Aplington – Parkersburg was senselessly killed on the morning of Wednesday, June 24. Ed Thomas, the well known coach, is the father of two sons, one being the Union High School Activities Director, Aaron Thomas. Aaron has followed his fathers footsteps in the interest of Sports. Coach Ed Thomas was known for his leadership, strength and understanding and guidance on and off the field. He lead so many young people to follow what they believed in and helped others to achieve goals that otherwise might not had been reached.
