Vacation Bible School Registrations are Still Being Accepted

If you havent’ already done so, it’s not too late to register your children for Traer’s annual Ecumenical Vacation Bible School (TEVBS). This year’s Bible School will run from August 3rd through August 6th at St. Paul Catholic Church. We will meet from 9:00 A.M. – 12:15 P.M.. each day. TEVBS invites all children aged four through the completion of fifth grade to participate. Older youth and adults are encouraged to participate as helpers. This year’s theme is Camp E.D.G.E. and promises to be lots of fun. Children will learn Bible stories, sing, make crafts, play games, do scientific experiments, and more. A snack and lunch will be provided each day. VBS will kick off with a special hot dog roast at 5:30 P.M. on Sunday August 2nd at St. Paul Catholic Church and conclude with our VBS kids singing on stage at the Winding Stairs Festival on Friday, August 7th at 6:30 P.M. Registration forms are available at the Traer Public Library, Traer’s swimming pool, and at any of the five churches in town.. Feel free to contact Angie Jacobs (319) 231-6583 with any questions.
