Win a TV at the best tailgating contest

Traer’s 13th annual Winding Stairs Festival kicks off on Thursday evening, August 6, at the North Tama Athletic Complex with a “Best Tailgating Set-Up Contest.” Everyone is invited to enter the contest celebrating the festival’s theme “Tailgating on Second Street.” Set-up in the complex’s parking lot begins at 4:00pm, judging at 5:30pm, with prizes being awarded at 6:00pm. First place prize is a 32 inch Vizio flat screen TV. Get your creative juices flowing and get ready to cook your tastiest tailgating food. Just remember, no alcoholic beverages will be allowed.
