The Traer American Legion Auxiliary will celebrate their 90th birthday with a dinner meeting at Silver Streak Lanes on Tuesday, November 16 at 6 p.m. Special guests will be the Tama County Auxiliary Officers and Mayor Pete Holden. On the agenda will be reports from Mayor Holden and County Auxiliary President Jolene Denbow. We also will hear about National Security from Irene Hanus and receive the Education Report from Jean Kruse and Ramona Snow.

The dinner menu will be: Ham Balls, Party Potatoes, Green Beans, Salad and Cake. Please call in your reservations to Kathie Manfull at 476-3225 or Karen Podhajsky at 478-8379 no later than Friday November 12.

Also coming up is the Holiday Dinner with the Legion at the Memorial Building on Monday, November 15 with social hour at 6 p.m. and meal at 7 p.m. On Tuesday, November 23 there will be a Tama County Joint Meeting at the Toledo Legion Hall at 7 p.m. There will be a memorial service for deceased auxiliary members and legionnaires the past year.
