Traer Star-Clipper gains a helping hand

The Traer Star-Clipper has an addition to their staff. Lacie Brezina, a senior at North Tama has elected to come to the Traer Star-Clipper for her “school to work” class. During Brezina’s third and fourth hour classes, she is brought down here by a school official and then picked back up after her class times are over. Brezina is learning how to do several jobs including: typesetting, running the computer system used for setting the newspaper pages up, and navigating the administration section of the new website, just to name a few. ” I love working at the newspaper and really enjoy my “co-workers”. I also think it’s awesome that I’m the first person to work here for school-to-work! I love working at the Star-Clipper and it’s the high point of my day.” comments Brezina.
