Union Middle School students have been making pillows in the Family and Consumer Sciences classes. These pillows are for service men and women who are from La Porte City and the Dysart area that are serving in the military in the Middle East. If you know of any local service men and women overseas, please contact Union Middle School. The students are asking for donations from the public to pay for postage for this project . The class is also asking for fabric that could be used to make more pillows. This will be an ongoing project all year.
