Ihor Trotsyuk, a 16 year old from the Lutskuy region of Ukraine. He lives with his parents and is an only child. His family is pretty normal, families in Ukraine only have one or two children. Back home Ihor is involved in many activities. These activities include: volleyball, soccer, swimming, biking, and climbing. In Traer, you might see Ihor as a kicker on the junior varsity football team, or out riding his bike around town, or maybe even to school in the morning. In his free time, he enjoys biking, hiking, and reading.

Ihor also says that the educational system here is different for many reasons. He explains “You can’t choose what you’ll study, there are different lessons every day with the same students, there are 11 years of study, much harder program, low finances, and no lockers.” Ihor wanted to join the foreign exchange program to see the world. He enjoys North Tama, his favorite thing is that we have good computers and the good condition of the school. Ihor was surprised to find that Americans are actually friendly.

You may see Ihor out on the football field or around town riding his bike. Cheer for him on the field or just say hello. He is a very intelligent and interesting individual. I think anyone would find it enjoyable to talk to him.
