Union Boys Tennis

The Union Boys Tennis Team traveled to Waterloo for Boys 1A Districts on Thursday, May 12. In singles play, Robert Leipold lost 3-6, 4-6 to Richard Uhlenhopp of Aplington-Parkersburg. Richard Leipold lost 1-6, 2-6 to Kollin Cuvelier also of AP. In doubles Andrew Lynn and Rick Bauer lost to Dike #1 team of Schmitz/Welsh by a 1-6,1-6 score. TJ Gray and Josh Spragg had to play Hudson’s #1 Doubles team, Melby/Grams for the second time this season, this time dropping a very close and competitive 3-6, 6-0, 5-7 match.
