National Honor Society (NHS) at Union High School will be asking for food donations for the North East Iowa Food Bank which also supports local food pantries. The members will be out during Halloween trick or treating hours

And On top is Kamryn Kronschnabel 5-7 p.m. October 31 in Dysart and La Porte City. Each NHS student will be wearing a NHS badge with his/her name on it to verify National Honor Society membership. This is part of their food drive campaign that ends November 14. We ask that you help support this worthy cause.

Want a fun and exciting evening!! Come to the PowderTuff volleyball tournament for guys. This will be held on Friday, October 28, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the high school gym. There are five teams registered vying for the coveted pink Powdertuff Trophy. Entry to the event will be two canned food items or a monetary donation which will be given to the North Eastern Iowa Food Bank. Come and enjoy the competition and fun.
