The Union Knights (1-1) fell to 1-1 Friday at the hands of the Denver Cyclones (2-0). The final score was 32-6. Quarterback Grant Behrens threw for 346 yards and a touchdown but was also forced into two interceptions. The touchdown was caught by Max Eikamp who finished with 113 yards receiving. Michael Niebergall also turned in a solid effort, hauling in 11 passes for 112 yards. In the end, Denver’s ground game was too much to handle for the Knights, as they out-rushed Union 304-44.
