The North Tama High School Band under the direction of teacher Channing Halstead boarded a bus bound for Florida last Wednesday, April 6, for their quadrennial trip. The band performed Saturday, April 9, at Ron Jon’s Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach (pictured). In addition to performing, band students visited Universal Orlando, Kennedy Space Center, and Disney Springs before returning to Traer late Monday evening. The North Tama Music Boosters provided partial financial support for the trip.
