Union sends Carlson, Klein to All State Music Festival
Bistline recalled for chorus
Two Union High School students have been selected to attend the Iowa All State Music Festival. This is the highest individual honor an Iowa high school musician can receive. Seniors Matthew Carlson, son of Steph and Reid Carlson, and Samuel Klein, son of Shane and Sara Klein were selected for the Iowa All State Chorus. Also recalled for the chorus was senior Joseph Bistline, son of Mike and Jennifer Bistline. Juniors Austin Martin, son of Aaron and Kristi Martin, and Brigitte Rohrer, daughter of Roger and Lisa Rohrer, also auditioned for the chorus. They are students of Casey Tecklenburg.
