TRAER – Piano students of both Sharon Owens and Carri Holst held a piano recital May 7 at the Kupka Cultural Center in the Traer Public Library. Twenty-one students performed ranging from first grade through 11th grade. Following the program, a reception to congratulate the students on their wonderful piano playing was held in the community room. The Kupka Cultural Center is a great venue for both the students to perform and the audience to enjoy beautiful music. Students participating include Scarlett Ramirez, Asher Monat, Raelynn Cooper, Lincoln Harford, Lenyx Vance, Violet Upah, Katarina Yuska, Stella Halstead, John Kemen, Adeline Kulhavy, Adelynn Kemen, William Dudys, Emily Cochran, Wyatt Upah, Ella Stickles, Josie Monat, Tucker Thilges, David Yuska, Clayton Williams, Johnathan Cochran, and Oliva Stickles.
