Ten students from the Union High School agriculture program recently returned from 10 days on the Emerald Isle, enjoying an educational tour organized by high school agriculture instructor Adam Sacquitne. They were joined by another ag student from Benton Community High School and Maureen Hanson, chaperone and Union Board of Education member. The trip included visits to a dairy farm, apple orchard, beef farm, racehorse stud farm, oyster farm, and strawberry farm. The group also took in Ireland’s unique music, food, Medieval castles, western coastline, and cities of Dublin and Galway.
