This year’s Kent Vesley Award recipient was Brayton Cibula, while the Tonja Rickert Award went to Addy Hochstetler.

To be nominated for the Kent Vesely and Tonja Rickert awards athletes must be in compliance with the substance abuse portion of the North Tama Good Conduct Policy for the past two years. Nominees are also required to participate in three sports, exemplify sportsmanship, and contribute to the success of the North Tama athletic program. They must show characteristics of friendship and leadership among peers, and respect towards teachers, coaches, and the community.

The Bruce Erickson Award recipient this year was Kolt Knaack. The award is given to an outstanding junior or senior male student-athlete.

The Outstanding Junior-Senior Female Athlete Award recipient this year was Briar Blake. Blake also received the first-ever North Tama Girl Scholarship.

For juniors and seniors to be eligible for the Bruce Erickson Award and the Outstanding Junior-Senior Female Athlete Awards, they must be in compliance with the substance abuse portion of the Good Conduct Policy for the past two years and have lettered in at least three sports.
