WAVERLY – Karsyn Miller has been accepted into the Wartburg College Teacher Education Program.

Miller, of La Porte City, had to demonstrate effective reflective components in teaching and complete several other requirements to be considered for the program.

Admission to the Teacher Education Program allows students to begin professional education courses in their field.

Wartburg College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and has an enrollment of about 1,500 students.
