Frush earns Reserve Champion at 2025 Iowa FFA Milk Quality & Products event
La Porte-Dysart FFA places 5th overall

MANCHESTER – The 2025 Iowa FFA Milk Quality & Products Career Development Event was held at Manchester on Friday, Sept. 5, with 25 teams including La Porte-Dysart FFA and 95 individuals participated in this year’s Career Development Event designed to provide students an opportunity to display their knowledge and skills in the area of milk quality and dairy foods.
The Postville FFA was named the Iowa Champion FFA Milk Quality & Products Team. The champion team will compete in the National FFA Milk Quality & Products Career Development Event during the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis this October.
The Reserve Champion Team in Dairy Foods Judging was the Northeast FFA, Goose Lake.
Isabelle White from Postville FFA was the Champion Individual. Brandon Frush from La Porte-Dysart FFA, La Porte City was the Reserve Champion Individual.
The Iowa FFA Milk Quality & Products Career Development Event was made possible with support from Crystal Farms through the Iowa FFA Foundation. The Milk Quality & Products samples were prepared by faculty and staff with the Iowa State University Department of Food Science & Human Nutrition in Ames.
