TRAER – North Tama High School celebrated prom last Saturday, April 18, beginning with the Grand March (open to the public) in the high school gym at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing downtown at the Memorial Building. The 2026 theme was A Night in Venice. Amy Lidgett of Amy’s Images was the official photographer for the evening. In a social media post following the event she wrote, “Prom is such an exciting event, but it’s all the behind-the-scenes effort from students, sponsors, parents, and everyone involved that really makes the magic happen. … My trigger finger might be a little sore today, but it’s always worth it. There’s something special about seeing everyone dressed up, having fun, and just enjoying the night.
