LA PORTE CITY – On Wednesday, May 6, Union High School hosted the annual Senior Scholarship and Recognition Night. As has become tradition, it was an amazing night celebrating the current senior class. Local scholarships generated over $82,000 worth of monetary college support; this does not include college-specific scholarships or other self-reported scholarships. The greater Union community is proud of all the students’ hard work and looks forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 graduation this Sunday, May 17, beginning at 2 p.m. in La Porte City.
