WESTMINSTER, Md. – Mitchell Wilson of La Porte City earned a master’s degree from McDaniel College. Wilson’s master’s degree in Human Resources Management was conferred in December 2025. McDaniel College awarded 332 master’s degrees conferred from 17 programs during the college’s Graduate Commencement Ceremony on May 23. Commencement speaker for the Graduate Ceremony was Education Professor Ochieng’ K’Olewe, the L. Stanley Bowlsbey Endowed Chair at McDaniel. The master’s degree recipients hailed from 25 states, plus the District of Columbia, and 26 countries.
