Country School Day to celebrate the America’s 250th birthday

DYSART – The Dysart Historical Society is celebrating America’s 250th birthday with a day of fun and learning at the annual Country School Day on Monday, July 20 at the Country School in Dysart. This year’s theme will include stories, activities, crafts and games all related to the 250th milestone. The teacher will be Shelby Janssen who has taught Country School Day for the past few years. The day will last from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The students will present a short program for parents and friends at 3 p.m. followed by refreshments. Registration forms are available at the Norma Anders Public Library, the Brick-a-Brack Building, Dysart City Hall or by calling 319-476-7345.
