TRAER – North Tama High School Class of 2017 alumna Carlee Margaret Feisel, RN, BSN, has been charting an upward career path since graduating as class valedictorian nearly a decade ago.

“I am delighted to announce some extraordinary news about my daughter,” Feisel’s mother, Tiffany, shared with the newspaper earlier this summer. “Her remarkable journey from small town Traer, Iowa, to a distinguished healthcare professional is truly inspiring.”

After graduating from North Tama and then Coe College where she earned a B.S. in nursing, Feisel has worked to establish “a diverse and impactful nursing career,” Tiffany said, including as a sexual assault nurse examiner and as a member of the burn step-down unit at the University of Iowa Burn Treatment Center. She also “delivered exceptional care” in medical-surgical, operating room and infusion units at several Iowa hospitals, including Mercy Medical Center, St. Luke’s Hospital, Ottumwa Regional Health Center and Jefferson County Health Center (Fairfield). More recently, Feisel started her own business.

“While attending Chamberlin University in Chicago – in addition to her clinical work – she launched her own business, Glow with the Flow IV Therapy, offering mobile services and operating out of two spa locations in Dysart and Batavia this past year,” her mother further shared.

And as if all that wasn’t accomplishment enough, Feisel will soon sit for her nurse practitioner exam in order to become an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).

“Although her practice location is currently undecided, her long-term goal is to establish a family practice, integrating her IV therapy services,” Tiffany added. “Keep your eyes open as she may soon be delivering high-quality care in a community near you.”
