TRAER – Tyler Cizek finished with a triple-double of 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as Class 1A No. 8 North Tama downed East Marshall 82-34 in boys’ basketball Thursday.

Five Redhawks (13-2) scored between 12 and 15 points. Lucas Hefty had a game-high 15 points to go with nine rebounds. Jacob Wrage finished with 14 points, while Cizek was joined with 12 by Brendon Boerm and Mitchell Boerm.

Luke Wilson and Walker Steward both had 10 points for East Marshall (0-16).

Tyler Sawyer had a team-high nine rebounds and four assists. Steward also had four assists.

The Mustangs host Grundy Center tonight, while North Tama continues its homestand with Waterloo Christian.
