Julia Kubik will celebrate her 90th birthday on February 23, 2011.

She was born in 1921 to Vinc and Julia (Salasek) Axler on a farm 3 miles south of Traer. On June 17, 1942, she was united in marraiage to Allen Kubik and they lived on his family farm until moving to Traer in 1980. Her three sons are Larry of Ankeny, Ron and his wife Ilse who now reside on the family farm and Tom of rural Clutier. Cards, calls or even a short visit will be appreciated.
