Roger and Mary Fischer of Clutier will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary and Roger’s 85th birthday with a private family dinner.

Roger Fischer and Matry O’Brien were married August 25, 1951 at St. Matthews Catholic Rectory in Cedar Rapids.

Mr. Fischer retired from the Clutier State Bank on August 1, 1988 after forty one years of service.

Their children are Loren (Laura) Fischer of Dubuque, Lynne (Douglas) Glandon of Sigourney and Laura (Paul) Ernst of St. Paul, Minn.

They have 2 grandchildren: Navy Lt. Chris (Amy) Glandon and Jennifer (Jeff) Martin and one great grandson Nathan Glandon.
