Redhawks Blank the Bucs 42-0

North Tama showed their dominance once again as the third-ranked Redhawks shut out its third consecutive opponent, defeating East Buchannan 42-0 at Dennis Field Friday night.

The Redhawks were led by Junior quarterback Jacob Wrage. Wrage went 9 for 13 with two touchdown passes. Wrage hit Junior Mitchell Boerm in the first quarter and Junior Jacob Watson in the second quarter, each being 35 yard passes. Wrage also ran 13 yards for a touchdown.

Also contributing to the scoring were Juniors Dalton Hulme and Nolan Hefty. Hulme rushed 50 yards for his touchdown while Hefty ran 25 yards for his touchdown. Senior Nick Whannel also had a 1 yard touchdown run.

Defensively, the Redhawks kept the opposing side scoreless. The Redhawks have outscored their opponents 147-0 in the last three games. The Redhawks forced two fumbles and kept the Bucs away from their own endzone.

The Redhawks (3-0) travel to Colo-Nesco tomorrow to take on the Royals (0-3).
