The North Tama volleyball team traveled to South Tama for a tournament Saturday, Sept. 24. North Tama took 1st place in their pool beating Hudson 2-1; Grinnell 2-1 and Saydel 2-1.

They lost in tournament play to 3A Union 0-2.

In the pool play Chelsea Dinsdale was 32-6 service in the nine games she played. Shannon Stuart was 13-1 serving in nine games. Aryn Isenhower was 37-2 serving in nine games. Shayla Kopriva was 10-0 serving in her nine games. Sydney Fehr was 14-0 serving in nine games. Allison Zobel was 21-8 serving in nine games.

Isenhower had 56 assists in the nine games. Stuart was 24-7 in kills for the nine games. Fehr was 34-11 in kills for the tournament.

Zobel leads North Tama over Royals

Colo- Allie Zobel had 16 kills and a .517 hitting percentage as North Tama knocked off Colo-NESCO in Iowa Star Conference volleyball Thursday night, 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Chelsea Dinsdale and Sydney Fehr both chipped in eight kills for the Redhawks (6-13, 3-1), and Josie Youel had six. Aryn Isenhower was credited for 29 assists and also served 28-30 with seven aces.

Fehr led North Tama with 22 digs and Shayla Kopriva had 18 more. Dinsdale made two blocks and also served 13 for 14 with four aces in the league win.
