Rich Behrens, Dysart Community Foundation Board of Directors, presents a grant award of $500 to David Allen, Dysart youth baseball coach. The grant along with money from a memorial fund from the friends of Matt Schutterle and the Union School District made the purchase of the new batting cage at the Dysart City Park possible. Dysart Public Employees and Petersen Concrete also assisted with time and materials to complete the project. The new batting cage will be an asset to the city youth baseball program and the Union Middle School Baseball program that practice and play games in the park.
