Barb’s Creations offers local choice for flowers & more

Barb’s Creations is one of the newest business in Dysart. Barbara Merchant, who is originally from Traer but now resides in Vinton, is the owner of Barb’s Creations. She specializes in floral arrangements, and renting out items for weddings, funerals, graduation parties, or any event you may be having! She mainly rents out chair covers and table clothes, and other odds and ends that are used at weddings or special events.

You can stop into her shop, which is located in the Brick-a-Brack building, and pick up some fresh flowers for your table at home, or to give to a friend! She will be having specials for Valentines Day so be sure to stop down and check out the beautiful flowers she has to offer. Barb is at her shop on Saturdays, but even while she is not there her merchandise is still available for viewing.

Barb will be offering three different Valentine’s Day specials. The first, called “A Time for Tea” includes a teacup/saucer and the saucer is filled with pink spray roses, lavender alstoemeria, and white mums. This will retail for $22.50

Package two, “You Bedazzle Me” is a square vase wrapped in red satin, accented with sparkly bling, filled with red and white carnations, pink spray rose, and lavender alstoemeria. This retails for $44.00.

Package three, “Love Is In The Air” includes one dozen roses and greens in a glass vase. This retails for $58.00.

Be sure to have your orders for Valentines Day in by February 12th, and you will also be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a box of chocolates!
