Wolf Creek holding auditions for Christmas play Oct. 23 & 24

The Wolf Creek Players will be holding auditions for their Christmas play, and local talent is needed! The Players will present “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” this year, and auditions will be held on Sunday, October 23 from 2-4 p.m. and Monday, October 24 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the St. Joseph Building in Dysart.

Six female and four male roles are to be filled, along with numerous boys and girls also needed as cast members.

This year’s play is a hilarious Christmas tale that is for all ages. A couple struggling to put on a church pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. The play is full of mayhem and fun!

Practices for the production will begin October 27 with a read-through, and tentatively continue on Monday and Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. as well as Sunday afternoons from 2 to 5 p.m. Adjustments will be made as needed after cast selection, but please check your schedule before audtitioning since this production requires a serious attendance committment.

If you are interested in helping out but don’t have the acting bug, help is always needed behind the scenes!

Performances of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” will be on December 2 at 7 p.m., with matinees on December 3 & 4 at 2 p.m. at the St. Joseph Building.
