Valentine Dinner & Concert at Church of Promise

The Church of Promise is hosting a VALENTINE DINNER and CONCERT featuring the group 4TEH. The public is invited, with no charge, but reservations are required. There will be a lasagna dinner, along with dinner music featuring the group 4TEH singing valentine songs and closing with gospel music. This event will be Sunday evening, February 12th at 6:00 at Church of Promise. The church is located on Hwy. D-65, just west of Hwy. 21, in rural Buckingham.

4TEH (pronounced like the musical term FORTE is a male gospel quartet that has been singing at Trinity Bible Church since 2007. The name 4TEH is an acronym that stands for Four To Exalt Him. 4TEH’s purpose is to Exalt Jesus, our Lord and Savior, through vocal quartet music. 4TEH ministers regularly at Trinity Bible Church in Cedar Falls, IA.

4TEH is comprised of tenor Dave Canell (back), lead Phil Good (right center), baritone Dan Dreyer (left center), and bass Jim Eagan (right). Rosann Good (front center) accompanies the group on keyboard. Dave is employed at Thrivent Financial as a financial advisor. Phil is a retired school counselor and teacher. Dan works for Area Education Agency 267. Jim is a retired John Deere electrician. Rosann (the wife of Phil and the sister of Jim) is retired from the University of Northern Iowa Registrars Office.

Please call for reservations by Feb. 8th. The evening event is open to the public and there is no charge to attend, but be sure to call in your reservation to Linda at 478-2174 or Carolyn at 478-8624 this week.
