A UTV/ranger accident west of Tama resulted in one fatality Saturday.

Levi Beenken of Traer succumbed to the accident.

Beenken graduated from North Tama High School in June.

A Facebook post from the North Tama High School invites anyone who would like to come together to support each other during this time to meet at the North Tama Athletic Complex today, Sunday, August 23 at noon.

The school requests that out of respect for everyone in attendance, please maintain a six foot distance from others or wear a face covering.

Members of North Tama’s staff will be present to offer support.
