ISU Extension to hold storm damage meeting

MARSHALLTOWN – Marshall County and Tama County Iowa State Extension and Outreach is organizing a Derecho Storm Damage meeting together. It will bring together ISU Extension Agronomy, Ag Engineering, livestock and insurance specialists. Speakers will cover assessing the crop, grain quality issues, and timing/plans for harvest given the condition of the crop as well as crop insurance information and more. It will be held on September 8th at 6:00pm at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds – 1308 East Olive Street, Marshalltown, IA 50158. RSVP is requested.
