Downtown Dysart was bustling as nearly two blocks on Main Street were filled edge to edge with classic vehicles.
Attendance was up over the previous year as the show hosted 153 enteries. Showgoers enjoyed food options provided by the Dysart Lion’s Club and Bobby’s BBQ.
The winner of the Marv Pippert Memorial trophy was Nick Simmons of Victor who brought a 1969 Chevy Camaro. The Duane Luze Memorial Best of Show trophy went to Jerry Huisman of Grudy Center with a 1951 Chevy Panel Truck.

The Ternus family brought in a 1968 Ford pickup to the Dysart Car, Truck and Bike Show on July 23. The truck was purchased from the Traer area and was of interest to Lynne as it was a model similar to a truck her dad owned. Lynne and Greg’s son Joe worked on the trucks engine and suspension as well as refinished the frame. They decided to keep the original paint job as it fit the farm truck asthetic. Joe is working on a 1963 Chevy Nova and a 1986 Mustang he hopes to have ready for next year’s show. Pictured with the truck (from left) are Lynne, Greg and Joe Ternus. Darvin Graham/NT Telegraph
