Fox Ridge ferries in fall with annual festival

A couple of Halloween-costumed youngsters chase the hayride at Fox Ridge Winery during its annual fall festival this past Sunday, October 3. In addition to hayrides around the picturesque vineyard nestled between rolling cornfields, visitors to the rural Traer winery also enjoyed face painting, kids games, a magician, the band Milk and Honey, the winery’s famous pumpkin launcher, plus food and wine.
