Remember to VOTE on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

The upcoming municipal and school board elections will be held on November 2, 2021, across the state of Iowa. Locally, a candidates’ forum will give area voters a chance to hear and interact with those vying for the offices of Traer mayor, Traer city council and North Tama school board.

This forum is on Monday, Oct. 18 in the basement of the Traer Public Library beginning at 4:00 p.m. Incumbent Traer mayor, Pete Holden is seeking re-election. His two challengers are Nicholas Ferguson and Jay Wolfe.

Candidates for two seats on the Traer city council and four seats on the North Tama school board will also be featured.

This event is free and open to the public.
