What motivated you to run for mayor? I thought the past administration was not doing enough to get businesses into the community after the closing of Traer Manufacturing.

What do you see as the primary roles and responsibilities for the position you are running for? To surround myself with highly qualified people to serve on the council and city departments then get out of the way and let them do their jobs

What challenges do you see small, rural communities like yours facing today as compared to larger cities and suburbs? What do you plan to do to help meet those challenges as a city council member/mayor? Most small rural communities are dying. In the last census many of the small towns around us decreased in population by 100 or more people. Traer grew my 100. It is important to support further business growth and improvements to our city to attract more people.

Why should people vote for you on November 2, 2021? I think my 10 years of experience as mayor is invaluable. I will continue to work to make Traer a great place to live.
