North Tama, Union announce 2022-2023 Homecoming Courts

Both North Tama and Union school districts have been gearing up to celebrate Homecoming 2022 this week. North Tama’s 2022-2023 Homecoming Court was announced last Tuesday, Sept. 20 while Union’s royalty was announced on Friday, Sept. 23.

North Tama’s queen candidates include Shae Ewoldt, Ireland Harmsen, Olivia Ketter, Jadyn Rausch, and Lainey Willenbring. King candidates include Lucas DeBoef, Michael Schrier, Ayden Staker, Logan Siemens, and Levi Zobel (king).

Union’s queen candidates include Jaidyn Bush, Taylor Hedeman, Aubrey Gates, and Kate Jolley. King candidates include Asher Beermann, Joseph Bistline, Joren Fisher, and Tyler Wilson.

North Tama’s Homecoming game is set for Friday, Sept. 30. The Redhawks (1-4) will face the BCLUW Comets (3-2) in Class A District 3 play. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. on Dennis Field. North Tama has bested the Comets six times in the last six years – shutting them out, 36-0, in last year’s road game.

Union’s Homecoming game is set for Friday, Sept. 30. The Knights (1-4) will face the Oelwein Huskies (2-3) in Class 2A District 4 action. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. at Union Stadium
