The descendants of Joseph and Anna (Hanus) Sokol gathered for their 68th annual reunion on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Hosted by the family of Anna Sokol Herink, the reunion was held at the Clutier Legion Hall in Clutier, Iowa.

After a delicious potluck meal at 12:30 PM, the afternoon was spent reminiscing and sharing family news of the past year. Prizes were awarded to Ollie Kremenak, the oldest in attendance; Ila Jean Yung with most grandchildren; Marce Nekola with most great-grandchildren; Judy Soule came the farthest (Milwaukee, WI); Jason Mohrfeld, the door prize.

Attending were: Rick Mohrfeld, Debbie Cernin, George Mohrfeld, Jason Mohrfeld, Marce Nekola, Bill and Janelle Murty, Dave Sokol and Kathy Meek, Pearl Shanda, Ollie Kremenak, Kathleen Brundage, David Kremenak, Duane and Ila Jean Yung, Judy Soule, Delaney Soule, Tom and Michelle Krueger, Bud and Geri Wiese, Cindy Nekola Williams, Kelly Suarez, and Richard Sokol.

The 2023 Sokol Reunion will be hosted by the Mary Sokol Riha Family.
