Traer Library set to host another Iowa author

Mark your calendars for another Iowa Author visit! Joseph LeValley is the author of a series of award-winning mystery/thriller novels featuring a young newspaper reporter based in Iowa.

Prior to becoming an author, LeValley was himself a reporter/photographer for Iowa newspapers, covering crime and criminal justice. He then served over 30 years as a healthcare executive. LeValley also plays drums and guitar, writes songs, and was inducted into the Iowa Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

Join LeValley on Monday, November 14 at 2:00 p.m. for “Lessons Learned on My Journey to Becoming a Novelist.” LeValley will share his writing experiences, behind the scenes details about his books, and how he went from journalist to executive to author. He is a great storyteller.

The Traer Public Library has the first four books in LeValley’s Tony Harrington series available for check out. His most recent, “Performing Murder”, was named Best Mystery/Suspense Novel of 2021 by the Maincrest Media Awards.
