Simply Blooming – the downtown Traer floral shop owned and operated for the last 17 years by Lisa Eikamp – now has a second location, Simply Blooming, Too, which opened last Friday in Vinton.
Located at 208 N. K Avenue along US 218 on the northwest side of Vinton next to Tootsie’s Ice Cream & More, the new full-service flower boutique may be a smaller version of the flagship store but it is every bit as whimsical and inviting.
Being just one of two floral shops in Tama County, Eikamp’s Traer business has long cast a wide net when it comes to its customer base serving those in the communities of Traer, Clutier, Dysart, Tama-Toledo, La Porte City, Vinton, and beyond.
During Friday’s grand opening, while Elvis tribute artist Mike Hartney of Clinton performed as part of the evening’s festivities, customers from many of those communities perused the shop’s offerings and enjoyed light refreshments.
Simply Blooming, Too is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. For more information refer to the business’s Facebook page Simply Blooming Too or website https://www.simplybloomingtraer.com
