The Traer Historical Museum will hold its annual meeting and ice cream social on Thursday, April 20. Everyone is invited to attend!

Entertainment will be provided by Cynthia Pokorny Martinez beginning at 5:30 p.m. with the formal meeting to begin at 6:00 p.m. Cynthia is a1975 North Tama alumnus and will play her keyboard and accordian.

Attendees will hear an update on new displays and future projects of the museum, including painting the Traer Star Clipper Winding Stairs, repairing the second floor of the Traer Star Clipper building, and new lighting to be installed on the first floor, thanks to a grant from the Tama County Community Foundation.

Museum volunteers will be recognized for their many hours donated over the past year.

At the conclusion of the meeting, guests will be entertained again by Cynthia while enjoying ice cream sundaes.
