Schrier guides boys golf past Regents

​​TRAER — Kylie Calderwood matched a season-low with a 46 to earn medalist honors for North Tama girls golf in a meet with Waterloo Christian at Traer Golf Club on Thursday.

Redhawk teammate Larissa Morrison followed with a 52 as runner-up medalist. Kensington Pick shot 53 and Brooke Bradley and Kinsley Even turned in 56s. Danika Wrage contributed a 63.

North Tama scored 207 as a team, setting a new record for the school.

Waterloo Christian did not field a full team.

For the Redhawk boys that same night in Traer, Michael Schrier posted the low round of the day with a 38 as North Tama snuck past Waterloo Christian, 171-173.

Lucas DeBoef had a 42 for the Redhawks, Levi Zobel contributed a 43 and Tyler Popelka was the final scorer with a 48. Case Monat and Drake Podhajsky contributed a 52 and 57, respectively, as non-scorers.

Aaron Zwack and Drew Wagner each shot 42 to lead Waterloo Christian.
